Seattle artist Miriam Drake is a creative professional inspired by intuition, emotion and spirit to use paint, paper, photography and drawing materials to express present moment reverence and communion with nature, the positive and feminine qualities of life, and the high energetic vibratory aspects of pure Be-ing. The artist's mission is to freely use a variety of materials with the joy, innocence and sense of connectedness associated with her childhood. She works primarily with oils on canvas and paper in a direct, expressive, emotional, and intuitive manner. As an expressionist, Miriam's techniques vary depending upon the demands of the experimental process at the moment.

"As I continue to grow as an artist, I take greater risks and reveal more intimate parts of my inner self. I hope someday to be able to express with art materials, the extra-ordinary expansion of light and energy I feel inside and around me in life. This would be an exceptional accomplishment."

In the United States, Miriam Drake's work is collected by individuals in California, New York, Florida, Missouri and Washington State.

Continually feeding her creativity, Miriam spent 2003 traveling and painting. She is currently seeking a patron to finance her studies, and studio/living space in a warm. sunny, vibrant corner of the world.
